Sanctity of Human Life

Posted by jahothanan on January 26, 2008

School has been insane and blogging has become secondary in my life right now. However, I really want to change that. (Hard to imagine how people like Ken Ham who are so busy can blog so frequently).

Something I really want to talk about is that last Sunday was Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. (If you didn’t know that then shame on you). Washington state is rated A+ by NARAL for abortion availability. The top state for abortions. Pierce County has had more abortions per capita than any other county statewide. Top state and top county. At least one out of four women (perhaps more) have had an abortion. Now, our “oh so wonderful governor” has decided that abstinence programs should be banned completely in the schools.

Considering this, I am officially endorsing a particular candidate for president. Whether or not I agree with him on every issue is irrelevant at this point in the race. He is now the only candidate who is pro-life and I side with Dr. Dobson in that I will not vote for someone who is “pro-choice.” This candidate is quite obviously (or should be) Mike Huckabee. As a Christian and follower of Christ, how can I vote against my conscience? I cannot. Therefore, Huckabee gets my support. I only hope and pray that it does some good.
